Body Psychotherapy
1:1
A space to slow down and receive support as you navigate present challenges. Whether you seek therapy to better connect with your feelings, experience stress or other daily challenges that need your attention, or you simply want to create space for self-care and exploration, I am here to discuss whether our work would benefit you.
Sessions are designed to help you reconnect with yourself, gain awareness of your life situations, and align with your deeper wishes and desires. By embracing parts that are struggling—affecting relationships, career, daily life, and your overall sense of being—you grow your capacity to respond with presence and compassion while taking care of what truly needs your attention.
Body psychotherapy integrates both body and mind in the therapeutic process, working with unconscious patterns and beliefs as well as how experiences are held in the body. It offers the possibility to access the root causes of your challenges by listening to your felt sense while opening up to new choices and conscious change. Rather than focusing only on mindset or behavior, body psychotherapy follows the information that comes directly from your inner sensations and impulses. Over time, you learn how your nervous system reacts to stressful experiences and instead of ignoring your bodily signals, you learn to trust yourself, become more resilient, and follow your intuition.
My approach is trauma-informed, supporting you in understanding how your nervous system responds to different experiences while cultivating a sense of safety in your body. This process often leads to a stronger relationship with yourself and meaningful shifts in your relationships, work, and daily life. By attending to what you need from therapy, we set a plan and together work toward this direction. My work respects where you are, while I remain actively engaged in the process, inviting you to trust your intuition and gain clarity on what stands in your way.
I am trained in somatic psychotherapy, a full member of the European Association for Body Psychotherapy, and have completed an externship program in Emotionally Focused Therapy—an attachment-based approach that aims to repair intimate bonds between families and couples. With a long experience exploring the biophysical aspects of developmental and relational trauma through my own work and studies, I support you in reconnecting with your body, cultivating self-acceptance, and flourishing into your essence.
